Nancy Lee Stallard

Nancy Lee Stallard passed away December 29, 2023 in Elizabeth, CO. She was born to Kathleen and John Werthman in Denver, CO on April 28, 1938. Nancy is survived by her loving husband Jim Stallard, her sister and brother-in-law Judy and Bill Wong, her daughters and sons-in-law Carla and Troy Morrison, Cathy and Steve Barker and Christine and Troy Markley. She is also a proud grandmother of her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her sister and brother-in-law Marleen and John Drobnick. In her professional life she was a successful, loving and caring Kindergarten teacher known as Ms Nancy. The things that filled her with joy throughout her life were spending time with family, cooking delicious meals, hosting holidays, decorating her house for Christmas and relaxing in the beauty of the family cabin in the Colorado mountains. Nanny and Jim took many trips together enjoying their loving marriage. They took many trips to Hawaii which was their favorite destination. They also enjoyed traveling to Oregon, Arizona, Glenwood Springs and trips to enjoy the Colorado fall colors in the mountains. Nancy had an incredibly natural sense of humor. Even in the last few days of her life she was making us laugh unexpectedly. Her sweet beautiful voice, her bright smile, her energy, her laughter and spiritual presence will be so deeply missed. May our peace and comfort come from the knowingness that she is now in the Loving embrace of God completely free from all pain, confusion and sadness. May our memory of her be a blessing and an example of the way a pure, honest, loving and godly life should be lived. May we all follow her example to the best of our ability so we may to be welcomed by God at the end of our days.
