Katherine Elaine Marrs

Kathy, 77 years old of Cañon City, Colorado went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 11, 2023.  She was born in Cañon City to Harold and Ethel Miller on November 8th 1945 and married the love of her life Charlie Marrs March 3rd 1967 and had several children.  She worked numerous jobs through her life up until her retirement in 2018 where she worked for InnovAge Senior Care. Kathy was a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and took great pride in her children and great admiration of her sister Pat Trogden.  She had many friends, loved the outdoors, going for walks and spending time with all those that were close to her.  Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ethel Miller, her husband Charles Marrs, Brother in law Delbert Trogden, Son Rick Marrs and Granddaughter Jessica Isgar.  She is survived by her Sister Pat Trogden, Children JoEtta (Les) King, Debbie (Shawn) Shannon, Char (Richard) Isgar, Chuck Marrs, Sheri (Chad) Grantham, Tom (Melissa) Marrs,  also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. We would love to give a special thank you to all her loving friends who made her feel special and her days brighter.   She always spoke of never missing a breakfast or afternoon lunch. We would also like to give great appreciation and thank you to Lesa, Janet and Natassia of Sangre de Cristo Hospice for your wonderful services and care. Services will be held September 30th, 2023 @ 1:00 pm @ Cañon Community Baptist Church, 1111 Monroe Avenue, Cañon City, CO.  81212.  Pastor Steve VanWinkle presiding.
