Douglas Kent Brack was born on January 17th, 1964 in Garden City, Kansas. He is
survived by his siblings Linda Williams/Dave Williams, Cathy Jahn/Jody Jahn, and David Brack
as well as his Daughter Alexis Brack and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Douglas had a passion for fixing cars and cooking amazing food. He made a living as an
auto mechanic for most of his life, specializing in computer systems, electrical systems, and
Ford model vehicles. He was a well-respected employee at both Spradley Barr and Faricy
Ford. Doug was also very business minded. He proudly owned and operated his own Snap-On
truck, selling tools on the road to anybody lucky enough to know him or happen to be on his
route. He would later go on to open his own restaurant in Canon City at two different locations.
Doug Also had a passion for music as well as many outdoor activities. Doug loved his
rock music, ZZ Top being among his favorite bands, with a soft spot for James Taylor and Tracy
Chapman. He is well remembered for almost always having an incredible sound system and a
large collection of music to play. When not spending time indoors, Doug loved to go camping
and fishing. He was also able to appreciate the simple joy of going for a long drive or working on
his own vehicles. In his younger years Doug had a passion for acting, involving himself in school
plays.
Doug was well loved by those that knew him. Doug will be greatly missed by those who keep
him in their memory.
