Clifford Clyde Burhenn

Clifford Clyde Burhenn, born October 12, 1935 passed away peacefully at St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City, CO on Thursday, December 22, 2022.  He lived comfortably at home where he departed from his surviving wife, LaVonne "Bonnie" Burhenn.  Cliff was cared for in his last years by his surviving children, daughter Kim Zabel, son Mike Burhenn and Bonnie Fernandez, his daughter and full-time caregiver.  

At 87 years of age Cliff was the last survivor of his immediate and former family; father Charles, mother Minnie, brother Lawrence, brother Harold, sister Emma, sister Marie and Ann, his late wife and Mike's mother.

After three years in the Army, Cliff put together a family and moved them to Castle Rock where he owned and operated C&B Auto Parts for over 20 years.  Cliff had many talents such as, he was a Black Smith and created many beautiful items.  He was also a Machinist working with crank shafts and such.  In Canon City, Cliff worked for Gobins and Skyline Steel.

Cliff was a unique man and will be missed by us all!
