Betty Lacey Obituary

Betty Jean Lacey, 87, of Canon City, passed away November 3, 2022. She was born April 27, 1935 to Frank and Mabel (Cox) Turner. She married Ben Staadts who preceded her after 65 years of marriage. To say Betty loved to travel would be an understatement. She traveled the world and especially loved cruises and just jumping in the car to take a road trip, which she did often. After Betty's husband passed, she was fortunate to find a companion in Delbert Lacey who she married in 2017. She and Del loved getting in the car for weekend get-a-ways and especially loved finding new restaurants to try. Betty is survived by her husband Del, children Deborah (Daniel) Hood, Michael Staadts, Tammie (William) Ladd; grandchildren Jason, Allen, Tresta, Bobby, Carrie; great-grandchildren Naomi, Shiloh, Joseph, Gideon, Bianca and Anastasia. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben Staadts and daughter Linda.

Visitation will be held at Harwood Chapel, 516 N.10th Street, Canon City from 12:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M.
